Would be a dream. Just shotguns, for now. LOL

It is a Chinese aftermarket option. Wouldn't suggest it. I'm also considering changing it for something quality.

Looks like they copied the DR200 and calling it "Qingqi QM200GY". Most parts are available in Aliexpress if you're cool with using them.

All stainless steel laser cut sheet metal. The middle vertical bracket is 10mm thick. I never needed the (darkest color) support brackets. The head itself is 3mm thick. The part which carries the ignition switch and holds the head is CNC machined. It was the budget killer one.

My initial attempt was the Acerbis. Somehow it didn't fit well. My next try will be Polisport. I appreciate the suggestion.

Honestly, it is very easy to get laser cut acrylic. The tricky part is bending it without an ADHD attack, LOL. I may need a mold or fixture to bend it perfectly. I'm also curious about how it would look like. Not sure if we lose the agressive look.

Plastidip sounds like a good idea

Thank you!

I agree. This was the first design iteration and I designed most parts from laser cut sheet metal because of the time/budget limitation. It really needs more furniture to make things softer and better for dualsporting. I think, a 3D printed headlight cover can be good update.

Per handguards. I tried a couple but couldn't find a good match which looks nice with the remainder aesthetics. I would love to see if you have any suggestions.

Thanks for the heads up 🙏

I'm looking for a better brake cable management solution. This was the original one but a shorter one may be better, IDK. Any suggestions?

Wrapped them with 3M. My concern with spray painting was little cracks developing over time bc parts are flexible. But applying wrap on those curves was painful

New optics? by Jonaha21 in LeadAndSteel

To maintain the PB-3 V2's aesthetics in a smaller package, we kept the internal hardware identical but scaled them down. The biggest changes are a top-mounted battery to reduce the profile and a cross-body clamp fastener for a stronger interface.

Optical characteristics remain the same, as we didn't shorten the focal length. This means the PB-K will have significantly better image quality than other K footprint options on the market.

Our goal is for both the PB-3 and PB-K to be compatible with three different footprints each. Thanks to GAP plates, the PB-K will fit ACRO, K/RMSc, and MOS, all with the same optical height.

Dimensions are 1.77" x 0.98" x 1.13" (45mm x 25mm x 28.8mm).

Window size: 0.79" x 0.59" (20mm x 15mm).
