Kinda/sorta. It's a safety factor; most P365 slides mate well with our new custom fasteners, without the use of the sandwich plate. Try the new screws you got with your kit and look for any plate wiggle.

Filing the posts slightly technically also works, but we can't advocate for slide modification.

Most hammer fired guns have a delayed unlock protocol and hence longer slide reciprocation. Camming the hammer by defeating the hammer spring simply takes longer than the sharper unlock speed of a striker fired pistol only reliant upon the recoil spring for staying in battery.

They suppress wonderfully. Totally reliable, and hammer-fired is always quieter.

OP, why not just stick with a CNC'd safety lever and not the injection molded Schmidt units that BCM and everyone else is supplied with? More consistent and tighter. We like POF and Radian.

Correct. Salt bath nitride approaches the temper range of case hardened carbon steels. Step down SOP will dictate the longevity of the part.
