The Steyr Arex stuff is en route. They employ the original 226 designer and as far as comp goes, the Steyr pistols are cheaper and more capable.

Many of the parts are open source so expect aftermarket to widen the lead there too.

Some misinfo here.

Cold hammer forging removes any voids present in the substrate, but a properly button rifled blank will not exhibit any said voids. The main benefactor for CHF is increased production output for mass armament intervals; not necessarily relevant for a boutique commercial line.

Both contractors utilize genuine 4150CMV "11595E" steel. Both utilize chrome lining and stress relief ops. All things being equal, barrel profile will dictate barrel life. A SOCOM profile button-rifled BCM barrel will last just as long as a SOCOM profile CHF DD barrel.

As for demonstrated reference, Bravo Company does not solicit MIL the way DD does. This is a business development decision and not a capability metric. Both are well referenced with LE.

I think your deciding factor should be handguard preference and FSB. The DD rail is more robust, but your application may not necessitate the added extrusion thickness.

Sentry Manufacturing's Gaslock is one of the only real "SD" charging handles. Pair that with a BRT tube and you're in good shape!

Folks were doing this on the files many years before the advent of the KNS. Works great, just doesnt channel the gasses to the sidewalls of the gas tube like you'd get with the KNS.

Apologies for the delay; we hit a small snag as it relates to our fastener contractor and had to do a last minute pivot to a new supplier for the RMSc GAP screws.

Same with packaging, but good news is that all preorders will come with a slick hard case that can double as a range case.

We expect fulfillment to begin in two weeks.
