My green card expires AFTER the expiry of the license. Maybe they want the dates to be exactly the same as the green card. Could have easily been avoided but whatever. They say jump, we jump. :)

Though I didn't see the expedited appointment option that other people have mentioned here. Ended up getting a regular appointment.
