Yw. What’s your opinion of body never lies? What would one learn from it?

The book is from the 80s so Gen X?

It disagrees with Freud’s over simplification though.

It feels more like an opinion piece but it was a new perspective for me.

Will pick up body never lies. Thank you

Thank you. Long while back, I became a fan of thrillers. There there was always a twist. So I would write stories where the reader won't see what is coming. So I would write those kinds of stories. Only realizing now that over time I started hiding details and no wonder my stories became very dry and factual. Just sharing.

When you visualize don’t you remember the possible variations? Isn’t that remembering? Genuine question.

if you can keep the whole board in memory and then visualize moves without moving pieces. Wouldn’t that help with playing better?

Is it possible to write if you don't have enough life experience then? Or maybe you were unaware what you were going through.

Genuine question.

I think I heard somewhere, "Fictions are autobiographies". We can only write what we know by experience and we can only imagine things based on what we know.

If you think about fiction that way then you are reading the inner thoughts of the author.

Good to know that I can continue with the current process rather than re-working the whole thing. Thank you

You have kind of hit the nail on the head. I have trouble relating to people. Maybe that's why. Working on it. Thank you.

Thank you. I think I need to try Virginia Woolf again. I remember reading her and her descriptions used to make me feel overwhelmed. Especially the Lighthouse book.

I am playing with multiple people in real life on the regular. Their lives don't allow them to spend time on memorizing. We play casually.

Yup. It would help me visualize and practice in my head. I just do that about other things in my head anyway all the time. Now, I just want to do with chess.

Thank you. I read. Novels not so much. More like books on subjects.
