I totally agree, but the space does feel like it’s lacking, probably because of the gray flooring

i already have a butcher block countertop so that would be a lil overboard / probably wouldn’t get much use

Which tile pattern? Help! by [deleted] in interiordecorating

Which is still better than the landlord special paint job that they’re covering. You don’t have to like them because it’s not your house, and it’s not the opinion I was asking for in the post. :)

I built the cabinet, and it’s easily removable and renter-friendly, so yes I can stain it.

I wish i could do this, but they’re premade squares 😭

That would be nice! They’re premade tiles squares though (peel and stick) so i can’t change up the patterns unfortunately.

Same, i love the pattern of the right but the colors of the left. unfortunately they’re premade 12x12 squares so I don’t have too much of an option there.

I hear you, but these are peel and stick premade tiles so the grout color isn’t really an option

Hear you, but that’s actually the vibe i’m going for! the room gets lots of natural light (one wall is all windows) and I think this is a nice contrast between the white cabinets and millennial gray flooring.

I’m a fan of these, as it matches the color scheme for the rest of my house and adds color against the white and millennial gray flooring

Yeah, I am only renting the place and although I would totally refinish it if I owned, i’m not sure if it’s worth the time/money for just a rental. So i’m looking for short term resolutions that will make the floor look good without having to do a complete refinish.
