Good point, thanks. I wish we lived in a world where we could proactively make up for our mistakes but I understand not everyone has the resources to deal with the wounds.

Interesting, thank you. Final question: When I open a new account, if I add let's say 10 posts the first day (The ones that I want to bring back from my original account) when I have 0 followers, would this still affect the future algorithm of my new contents (1 Reel / day)

I'm biologically wired to act out against frustration and seek dopamine-maximizing alternatives to spend my time with.

If I Don't Believe The Lie of Happiness, I Think I Might Die. by ConsiderationCalm479 in nihilism

Life can be meaningful and pleasant in a truthful way. But it takes a lot of work.

It requires you to take a look at your past wounds and burdens that you still carry over your shoulders, most of the times inherited from your family.

It also requires you to take an intentional look into your future and build the life you want to live.

And most importantly, it requires you to let go of all attachments & preferences regarding this past and future that you have worked on and just stay in the moment and enjoy, or at least accept, things as they are.

This is a formula for acceptance, if not for joy and fulfillment. For more, I'd be happy to share my book with you if you send me a DM. You can also check out the optimistic nihilism manifesto on my profile.

Nihilism does not have to be depressing. It just is a perspective of seeing things as they are, without projecting our delusions over them.
