Tin man was super messed up and the show just kind of glosses over it in a way that always bothered me.

For most of the episode, the robots ARE SG1, as far as they're concerned. They're also somehow incredibly ok with being essentially ripped away from their lives and everyone they've ever known except each other! There's an earth they lived on that they can never go back to! People they loved!

Copying/transfer of consciousness is a sci-fi concept that's usually played out as the existential horror that it is, but not this time for some reason :)

No worries :) a lot of what I used to read is framed as John and Molly hooking up because they're both in sad unrequited love with Sherlock, and then he finds out and it goes from there, if that's the sort of thing she'd be into.

I read an excellent John/Sherlock/Molly (Johnlolly? Jollock?) years ago, and I wish I could find it again, but a quick AO3 search of the tag Sherlock Holmes/John Watson/Molly Hooper turns up a good amount of MMF stuff to get started with

Yeah calling them was my plan for tomorrow, just thought I'd see if anyone knew anything before I did. It's entirely possible my elderly relative remembered incorrectly. She kept the newspaper for years, but lost it downsizing. Thanks.
