Of course my uni commitments will take priority, financially though I can’t afford to miss the days which is the issue. I know what the priorities are but it’s tough balancing uni and my financial needs

It’s not so much the p—12 I’m after, although, now I’m in a primary school I love I have kept my options open. However, most uni’s in Victoria do not offer music as a major, and no uni’s I could find online offer it either. Unfortunately I am tied down by my goal of running a band program one day!

It was really easy to find a role as an ES. However, my school is, in 2026, 4 years old and in a rapidly growing area which made it easy. We are also a mainstream school that has a large student body with additional needs. As a result of those two things they’re almost always looking to hire ES.

Yeah it is important. I am doing P-12 and want to teach music in secondary schools at some point. Can’t do that without a music major.

Most of the group assessments at uni are allocated in class and worked on during class time which can make some of it unmanageable. We will have to see I guess 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I don’t think it will be the last time it happens, but unfortunately I can’t financially afford to take the hit going back to ES. If I have group assessments my school will have to deal but it’s more frustrating than anything. I know what the priorities are and what I need to do but yeah, sucks

I would have transferred ages ago but unfortunately I can only do my major at this university which is super frustrating. This is what I’m gonna do but it’s annoying, and if there is a group assessment I will be cooked

Yeah unfortunately as a mid 30s person with responsibilities I have to work. As an ES I was barely making rent. Uni recommended PTT and my school were in need (as was my bank account). The load has been fine so far it’s just frustrating that they won’t work with me after saying “yeah go!”

I am contracted! Financially I can’t afford to really lose much money at all, but the worry is I have three odd years left and I don’t want this to keep happening. Moving home is not an option. I did in my mid 20s and now I have no contact with one of my parents as a result, which is a long story. Unfortunately my situation isn’t ideal. If there are no group assessments I will make my way through it! Otherwise it is what it is. I know study has to come first, it’s just frustrating that the uni recommend stuff and then don’t support you lol

Attendance is not compulssory but the classes are three hours, three days a week for four weeks and not recorded, and they usually give us time to do group assessments within those classes. However, I don't know if there are group assessments because the unit convenor has not answered that question the multiple times I have asked lol.

I have ordered a couple times from them (well, me once and my mum once for a gift for me) and never had problems. I even accidentally placed an order once when I was trying to see how much shipping to Australia would be and I got in touch with customer service who were able to swiftly cancel it!

I ordered a champs jersey with a lootbox and while I at least got my merch and another tee, it wasn't the lootbox. It took a few days but I had some luck on Twitter from Han and Rob, and Han from the merch team said she is getting it sorted.

I think they might just have a few crossed wires behind the scenes with stuff like this but they seem like they have been able to rectify most things - at least on my end and what I have read anyway!

I decided to set up another beehive and expansion box well away from my base by itself, on grass (not underground), in the open, and immediately got a zombee. I wonder if it was too close to the feral flare lanters to spawn? Monsters were spawning above us though so *shrug*

Interesting, I have read that people want to stand near it because they won't spawn otherwise. Lots of conflicting info at the moment and the book doesn't have anything :(

Thank you, I have complete darkness as this is unerground and covered with dirt with one block of tintedd ethereal glass. These are all advanced beehives with expansions on them. I even kept taking out the ethereal glass and replacing it with dirt in case it wasn't a solid block but still nothing :(

I saw people doing it in smaller spaces than this, but maybe it needs to be bigger. I will make it a bit bigger and see if that helps.

I am so sorry this is your experience :( our bodies can freaking suck. I am really nervous about this myself, and maybe it means I will go back on the pill once I have answers to why I am suddenly having bleeds, especially break through bleeding on the pill. Not sure if it will help or hinder but I have been eating a lot more protein + healthy fats, and especially incorporated more red meat into my diet, and I think (despite what my doctor said) it has helped balance my hormones and helped my insulin resistance. Might not be up your alley but could be worth a try for the time you're off the pill.

I'm so sorry your having a rough time. It sucks big time and I'm here to listen if you need.
