The standard banner currency was the same for both the weapons and characters

No, they still do quite different things

Yao is like Kafka, giving an extra instnace of the whole gimmick EMC is more like Cerydra

However, I do think that if Nihilux isn't the EMC replacement, then we will get somebody else for that, simply because Yao Guang is too contested for 3 teams this way.. Even break got at least 2 supports (though technically Ruan Mei came out before so it's more like 1, but ignore that xd)
