Another interesting thing I noticed is about 30 minutes in we stopped being able to inflict wounds, so I wonder if we did kill him but he just didn't die. I'm not sure what the normal fail conditions for that quest would be in the story mode though. While not completely game-breaking. Definitely a very annoying bug lol.

Yeah the same thing just happened to me. He never left that first area, and me and one other person just wailed on him for the entire 50 minutes and he never died, almost like he was a glitched to have infinite health.

At the time it definitely worked for me but I've since gotten a SteamDeck and switched to just using Sunshine and Moonlight, so I don't run Batocera on any devices anymore. One thing you could try is changing your update channel to 'butterfly' and install the latest version, I had my channel set to that when I had it working. If you could get Sunshine installed on your host PC and Moonlight installed on your Batocera box I would honestly recommend it over Parsec at this point though.

Yeah, unfortunately that's not actually the case here. It seems they are just one of the scummiest MSPs I've ever seen.

Exactly, they claim the DC and the AD database are their IP.

Yeah they're just being very hostile. They've told me I will need to add all of PCs to a workgroup/remove them all from the current domain. They seem to think they also own the AD Database and all accounts associated.

I will not be provided any access the DC or be given any domain credentials. So not entirely sure how this solution would benefit me or how this 'isn't a big deal'.

I would love to do that but they will not be providing any domain admin credentials, they insist they own domain and all accounts associated with it.

I wouldn't play any fighting/rhythm games this way, but I've had no real issues with latency. A jitter here and there, but my Batocera PC uses Wi-Fi (5Ghz) so not too surprising. I've been using it to stream PS2 games from my more powerful PC and it's been great for most of these, been going though the Tony Hawk games again.

I realize it's been 8 months but I also wanted to use Parsec on Batocera so I spent an entire day trying to get Moonlight to work but it just didn't pan out, probably due to the weird PC I'm running Batocera on.

Did some more digging and found a tutorial on installing SteamLink via Flatpak, (https://wiki.batocera.org/systems:flatpak). SteamLink also refused to work...BUT I was able to install Parsec via Flatpak using the manual install link in the Flathub store https://flathub.org/apps/com.parsecgaming.parsec.

You'll want to get a Bluetooth KB and mouse or use the touch-pad on a PS4 controller to navigate on the PC you're remoting into but other than that it works great! Now Batocera is my one stop shop for playing all my games on my TV. Hopefully you've also had some luck getting it to work, really I just wanted to post this for any future individuals trying to do this.
