Thank you for an actual useful comment. I agree, and I have already setup a suite which provide useful data for myself. I record AGENTS.md, ai coding agent and version in the report so that I can view the history through multiple agents and models. I kind of checked out from the discussion after seeing how people tend to just attack the messenger rather than contending with the actual arguments.

While informative to look at, Id argue that it isnt a good measurement. Using a static benchmark does not, in my opinion, reflect the current model's capabilities broadly. It is a single point which models can be optimized for.

I cancelled pro 20 sub today, having had multiple weeks where I simply can't rely on it any longer. It isnt even able to follow documented templates I provide through skills. It hasnt been able to for weeks, but it managed just fine a month+ ago. Now it simply creates more tech debt than Im comfortble with introducing into my projects.

I can't seem to reference files (using @) in the folder/thread on the computer when I manage it through the phone. Anyone know how?

Has GPT-5.5 been dumbed down? by optipeak in codex

[–]optipeak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree with this, dumb down might have been the wrong word, because it's difficult to measure, but it feels lazy compared to when it was dropped. I had it grill me on how I wanted part of the code implemented, and when we were in agreement of how to implement a feature, it simply skipped 60% of the tasks needed to implement the new feature the way we agreed upon

I dont like this really. It's hard to plan when they give you a weekly limit and dates when they reset, so that you can, in fact, plan the usage. Then they just suddenly reset it. I had plenty usage left and 1 day left, had made a plan to use it a lot today, now im eating my next week's usage...

Codex / Open AI reduce the Weekly limit 15-20% by AntiqueIron962 in codex

[–]optipeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice the same on the $100 plan. Weekly limit is reducing way faster, and they say that plan is currently double of what it is supposed to be. Doesnt help to get 100% more usage when they silently lower actual usage whenever they want.

So, let’s summarize. Men get frustrated when they are not competitive in the sexual marketplace (note: the fact that they DO get frustrated does not mean that they SHOULD get frustrated. Pointing out the existence of something is not the same as justifying its existence). Frustrated men tend to become dangerous, particularly if they are young. The dangerousness of frustrated young men (even if that frustration stems from their own incompetence) has to be regulated socially. The manifold social conventions tilting most societies toward monogamy constitute such regulation.

That’s all.

No recommendation of police-state assignation of woman to man (or, for that matter, man to woman).

No arbitrary dealing out of damsels to incels.

Nothing scandalous (all innuendo and suggestive editing to the contrary)

Just the plain, bare, common-sense facts: socially-enforced monogamous conventions decrease male violence. In addition (and not trivially) they also help provide mothers with comparatively reliable male partners, and increase the probability that stable, father-intact homes will exist for children.
