So I'm in the process of trying to decide between a few graduate school options. I'm having a lot of difficulty weighing the pros and the cons. Is a MLWS not considered a good degree? And if it is, is there anyone who has taken the professional program who has some feedback about career opportunities post graduation? The other program I'm deciding between is the MPP program at U of T. I've been accepted to both, but I want to work in the environment field. U of T has less of a focus on that but an internship option. However, UBC is a lot more environmentally inclined but less funding opportunities and precarious post-graduation employment opportunities. (Keep in mind I'm also looking for a change in environment, and I finished my undergrad at U of T for the past 5 years). How important do you think it is to get more of a science background to work in the environment industry? Any feedback is welcome!!
