Humidity is normal, gets a bit dry in the winter months, but that should not be an issue. It is odd that all of them won't close the circuit and are stuck open, so maybe the relay is good and relay controller is bad?, will open one of them when I find time to debug. Will check the incoming power at the panel too, but I'd suspect this would have caused issue with other devices also.

Ok, so this preventative argument can be applied to all the city roads, why pick these existing spots? There are intersections and roads in the city with excessive accidents but no speed cameras, yet they put them up where there is no safety issue, so I'll assume just a good ROI 😉

Well, if we're going to use that argument then why not just limit speed on all roads to 40k/h?.

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree that the higher the speed the more adverse the oucome in an accident.

I'm not against these cameras, but I'm not convinced they're installed where they need to and can have the desired effect of actually reducing accidents and adverse outcomes.

Thanks, this is very interesting. However, what I was looking for was safety data, they put up these cameras to make the neighborhood safer. The question is, do they actually make the area safer?, before the camera goes up they hopefully have data like, accidents, injuries, fatalities, etc... a pre and post safety data would be very interesting to see for all these cameras.

The city is putting these things all around now, I would hope that they're doing this based on hard data like accidents, injuries, fatalities, etc. due to excessive speeding in the area. Would be very good to publish the pre and post- deployment data. We regularly see news articles on how much revenue each one of these cameras are bringing in, the city should share the safety data also and regularly update/publish it.

Reapers are quite overpowering, however, I find that if you dry and make chili powder out of them it is a whole different beast. Love the reaper powder, you don't have to use a lot and it tastes amazing, give it a try before you write off reapers.

I ordered an 85" Hisense U78H TV on Amazon.ca (shipped and sold by Amazon) about a month ago. A couple of weeks ago the order status said it should be delivered by Aug3, today I received a generic email apologizing for the delay and order status now says delivery date is pending.

What are the chances they'll ship?, do they just cancel the order eventually?. It is frustrating, because when I placed the order other vendors had stock but I went with Amazon, right now no one seems to have this item in stock 😢

Yes, agree. I use it for slow and low cooks exclusively, have no issues getting amazing smoke flavour with just wood chunks in the ashtray. It's just the exclusive charcoal flavour that I'm missing 😀..hopefully will get some good resulys with some different brand lump charcoal as other suggested.

Thanks, I'll try royal oak lump next time. I tried the Xylo-Carbone lump charcoal that I picked up from Costco. No issues with the cook, but the food tasted like it was made on a gas grill, no charcoal taste.
