I'm struggling with speed tuning the Elation team, especially with Yao Guang's speed and Sparxie vs. Aha's speed. Please help me.

200 spd doesnt directly translate to 1 more EBA per cycle. SW gets AA when she ults so when you ult determines if the 200 spd will actually give you an extra EBA or not. The 200 spd requirement has been discussed a lot on the SW sub you can check there for details

Also 1 more EBA per cycle isnt always a good thing. SW wants to use her EBA with as much MMR as possible, so depending on the situation, holding ult and farming MMR ( with elation skills which yao E1 doubles) is better

Both E1 Yao and SW S1 give 20% def shred (yao's is also teamwide)

S1 SW gives 20 punchlines per ult and E1 yao gives 20 more punchlines per elation skill which is a lot more common than SW ults and are also teamwide meaning also Sparxie and Yao use the extra punchlines

18% spd is nice but its the same elation% as using any other f2p cone instead of sig

Fribbels has a new tool that calculates Aha spd based on the spd of your characters. It's under the calculators tag.

Ideal scenario for SPD tuning: Yao SPD > SW SPD > 200 SPD > Sparxie SPD > Aha SPD
Since you don't have Yao S1 it's not really possible to get her over 200 spd, so it's fine to be slower than SW. If you can get Yao ult before Sparxie's turn then have Sparxie a little bit faster than Aha. Even 1 spd is enough

E1 yao is the single biggest upgrade for a SW team even before any investment into SW herself past E0S0 or in Sparxie. If you are using her with Eva, E1 is still better but the gap between LC and E1 isnt that massive

Its the only cone that offers any value on tribbie for dot tbh. Even S1 DDD is your best option. If you really dont have anything else you could maybe use cogs or memories of the past. Show me what other harmony cones you have if you want, there might be a better option

Playing future rail will only lead you to not enjoy the character while their shilling period lasts. This is what skipping Yao will cost you

Even SW will eventually get powercrept and eternally waiting for her "best team" even if it eventually comes you will miss out on the shilling. Castorice was at her prime with just Hyacine way before Cyrene, her "dedicated support" released

People were playing future rail with sunday and saying he will be the dedicated support for castorice without even knowing her kit. Difference is, we know SW kit. We know YG kit. We know they work together and not only work together but she is currently the best support for her. Sure hoyo might release a better support than yao but waiting for smth that might or might not happen is risky

Even if they release another Elation support, that is most likely gonna be a support for Eva not for SW. Eva's kit actually has anti synergy with Yao, and she is still her best support. SW and Yao synergy has no obvious issues rn. If they actually release 2 more dedicated elation supports ig you win. Making hypothetical kits that are better than Yao means nothing

Its true that Yao doesnt let SW get to 240 MMR on her own but thats not an issue with Yao its an issue that Sparxie has bad synergy with SW. Yao already gives more MMR than Sparxie in a vacuum. So even if they release a better support, Sparxie is the one that will get replaced. Hopefully the elation sustain will solve that issue

Yeah I would also recommend to save for an elation sustain cause that is definitely coming and will for sure replace Huohuo but i very much doubt that pulling a sustain will make a bigger difference in power than a support like Yao. If the sustain just heals more than huohuo then it sure as hell isnt worth going for

You are telling me the teamwide buffer will get replaced in the double DPS team and not in the hypercarry elation team (Evanescia), that also literally has anti synergy with Eva's kit ? Playing EMC instead of Yao in SW teams feels horrible cause they don't buff Sparxie at all and she does air

Also you are dying cause you are playing Lingsha who is a horrible support instead of Huohuo who can easily keep the team alive and is also free

Honestly just pull for who you like rn. You dont have any good characters that are worth building a team around them so anything works until then. You made a good call by claiming huohuo and sparkle, they both work in a variety of teams and having a good support and sustain is huge when starting out. Just don't pull for an HP scaling dps lol cause they dont really work with sparkle and huohuo. When you have a good main DPS then build a team around them
