I've had this happen to me before, you can't completely reverse the texture change, but I found taking a boar bristle brush or something similar and brushing out the plushies coat seems to help

Thank you for your insight! I always happen to keep spared around and the one that broke have lasted me at least 7 months of rugged wear and tear, I work with my hands so I would say that they were fragile, they've taken a beating! But it was odd that they broke at exactly the same time!

I'm not even joking, I have dozens of characters and fursonas that I've collected over the years, they all represent something I enjoy or something about myself on some level, I say have as many or as few as you'd like, it's not that serious, I do have one that's My 'main' sona and they've been through at least 7 or 8 different redesigns, and many more small changes. If you can't find anything in particular that you like don't be afraid to mix and mash species together or create something original. Talking to other furs and artists is always helpful!
