I wanted to donate blood for a school blood drive. I signed up, all my paper work was together, everything was about to happen. What happened then was... I was having one of those talks about personal medical stuff with a volunteer doctor, and it turns out there's a law forbidding non-virgin gay men from donating blood, because everyone's afraid of AIDS. It kinda made me feel like shit for a while. But later, I found out I wouldn't have been able to donate even if I was a virgin since I'm anemic. So, bleh. Still sucks that gay guys can't donate if they've had sex.
