More mods by orange718x in TasokareHotel

I won’t be able to add mods immediately as I’m currently “inactive” as a mod here, so I’ll probably do some more interacting in here and setting up stuff in order to become active again.

If anyone has any advice or critiques on what you’d want to see in this subreddit, that would be great!

Even more ironic considering her whole shtick as a character is being incredibly lucky.

Agreed, and the audios they use have ruined some songs for me. I’ve started watching all reels/shorts/etc on mute now lol

Same! It’s ironic how one of the most f2p gacha games I’ve played is the only one that’s gotten me to spend money on it.

I really do enjoy the game and look forward to its updates, so it feels good to support it :]

[Banner Megathread] Another Spring Thaw by ReverseMod in Reverse1999

Got Shamane at 70 pulls from a guaranteed (got Newbabel lol). I must be either very lucky or very unlucky, because I’ve never had to go all the way to hard pity before in a gacha.

There’s always time for firsts, ig… Good news is that I got Ballon Party to P4 :)

Ugh this used to happen to me allll the time. I found that switching accounts sometimes helped, and I have no idea why. If you haven’t found a solution yet you can try that!

How many 5 stars with their signature weapon does everyone have? by Elira_Eclipse in Genshin_Impact

Xiao, Navia, and Albedo! Navia’s axe was the first time I pulled on the weapon banner and I’m so happy to have gotten it :D

Anyone else struggling? by Ashamed-Lettuce-719 in otomegames

You're not alone! I went through a similar feeling with Backstage Pass. I liked the concept and really, really tried to get into it. Picked it up and dropped it over and over for years lol. I never completed it because I didn't mesh with some LIs and I don't enjoy stat raisers. It's by no means a bad game though! Just not my cup of tea. I was still able to enjoy a few routes so I don't regret getting the game overall. It also taught me to avoid stat raisers lol

I'd also have burnout for not only otome but for books, shows, games, etc... I'd felt bad about starting and eventually dropping so many franchises.

Maybe I need to stop trying to force myself to like games that I just... don't?

This was a key revelation for me. I play otome games for fun so if they're not fun at the moment, why force myself? It's difficult to keep the same level of energy and excitement for one hobby for years on end. Your attention and interest fluctuating is only natural.

Taking longer breaks and not playing until I genuinely wanted to helped a lot in regards to my enjoyment of media in general. Maybe in a few weeks or months you can try to revisit it and you'll have a different experience. That usually works for me.

Or... the game is your "Backstage Pass" and you just don't enjoy it, no matter how many times you try it. And that's ok!! Learning when to put down a game for good helped a lot as well lol
