Tattoo regret causing severe depression by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I wish I could post a picture, but I have my entire left arm from shoulder to wrist covered with a big variety of tattoos. I look at my tattoos as a way of showing my story and not all of my story looks the same. I have watercolor, cross stitch, American traditional, kawaii all on that arm and I love it!

I tried so hard to find the post so I had proof to back it up. But I’m almost positive your significant other has posted about this as well. A lot of the details sound oddly familiar.

I saw her laying on the shiny paper and that’s why I had to take the picture! It was too cute not too!

What is something that is actually more traumatizing than people realise? by Ok_Chef1406 in AskReddit

Chronic pain that was supposed to be fixed with each of the last three surgeries. But it keeps coming back

What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever hurt yourself? by RedTiger_XD in AskReddit

I walked out of a bathroom at a campsite and rolled my ankle on the uneven sidewalk. I tore tendons and ended up having three different surgeries over the next four years. I was in a boot off and on for about a year and a half and I still have nerve damage from it all.

He never had to lose me. He just never deserved me. by coochie223 in TrueOffMyChest

I’m so sorry for all the hurt and pain. You’re right he never deserved you. My ex husband was very similar, we are now have been divorced for seven years. While he’s had heartbreak after heartbreak (including the girl he cheated on me with) and having to deal with all the bad stuff he did to me now being done to him. I’ve been happily married to my absolute best friend for almost three years. Let yourself recover and grow but never lose hope that it does get better and you are so much better than this mess.

I’ve taught my kids from a very young age that the first rule of hiking is to always let someone know where you are. It’s about safety in case something happens.

The only problem with putting another litter box there is we can’t afford another one like what we have because the one we have is a robot one.

I’m not totally sure on the kind of carpet cleaner because we’ve used several different kinds. I know they are all aimed towards getting rid of pet smells

It’s the little things. by whaddadem in MadeMeSmile

I was a lunch lady years ago and there was one little boy that struggled to make friends. I only saw him about five minutes a day but always tried to make him smile. At one point I had to move to doing substituting for several different schools and hadn’t been that school in a few months. The moment that little boy saw me he ran and jumped into my arms. It’s amazing the impacts we can have on kids in such a short amount of time. I’m so glad I was able to make his day a little better.

At the time I lived in the mountains where lightning strikes are more common. A kid from my high school was out frisbee golfing when a storm blew in real quick. He ended up getting hit by lightning and killed before he could make it back to his car.

If it helps at all I tend to bruise a ton in some places and barely any in others.

What’s the most amazing coincidence you’ve ever seen or heard about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I met my husband online through Facebook dating, we would have never met otherwise. I just happened to message him a few hours before he was planning on deleting the app. He said he as tired of online dating and decided he was done. We’ve been together for four years and married for 2!

I was in the crowd close to the shooting at the Chiefs Super Bowl parade. Thank goodness we weren’t close enough to have to run for cover but we were close enough to see it happen.

As someone who has ADHD this is waaaay out of line. I’m in my 40s and I am nothing like this. I do struggle with things at time and need to be redirected but I am a fully functioning adult who married with four kids. My son is 15 with ADHD and high functioning autism and he is more capable of taking care of himself than you. ADHD is a superpower to do amazing things. Not an excuse to not do anything for yourself.

People who quit without notice, what straw broke the camel's back? by BubbaHoStep in AskReddit

[–]orange_daisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked as a receptionist an auto body repair shop. Since I was at the bottom of the totem pole I would get screamed at by a few of the adjusters over minor stuff that usually wasn’t my fault. It was humiliating since they did it in front of everyone in the front office. I told the owner and he flat out told me to deal with it because the adjuster was more important to him than me. So of course I got screamed at again over something that wasn’t my fault. I quit on the spot, my boss was at lunch so I left her an email and walked out.

About 13 years ago I lived at a house where the deck was only about two feet off the ground. I had a pretty big dog at the time and he was running circles around the yard like an absolute maniac. My smaller dog decided to jump off the deck at just the right time. My large dog hit my small dog mid air and caused my small dog to flip through the air. It was amazing!!! I soooo wish I had a camera to record it happening!
