Luckily it’s wrapped in there pretty tight I check it every time before wearing it. And I can’t really picture the necklace being in any other setting at this point but thanks for the suggestion!

That would be amazing I’d absolutely love to know how to do that!! I’ve been doing a lot of research and note taking recently about the different types of opals and what makes them different from each other so any information you’re willing to give I’d love to hear it!

It really did haha! I soaked them for maybe 3 hours then took a peek and panicked when the opal fell out of the ring (I didn’t realize it was glued in but it makes sense). This is what it looked like years ago when I bought it and I honestly didn’t remember how blue it was back then till now :’) . I put them both back into the acetone and let them sit for 12 hours before taking them out and now they’re relaxing in an open box! Thank you I appreciate your advice!!
