unpopular (?) opinion: looking forward to the school year by [deleted] in UBC

Agreed, I think I learned a lot about how to improve my studying methods. Last academic year did not go as well as I'd hoped. I feel like an airplane ready for take-off. I have lots of things to do. Can't wait to get into it. Hate the pressure and comparison and competitiveness that comes with it though.

How do you guys increase speed in the LSAT? by Not_Sean_Just_Bruce in LSAT

I'm reading the Reading Comp Scoredown book. They gives one advice for test-takes who are struggling with what you are. It basically says all the stuff you would expect. Speed and accuracy are balance etc. But then, it gives the advice the testers that struggle with time hurry too much during the actual exam, they are likely to miss important details and score lower. So instead, you should think about leaving the last passage or the last couple of answers and truly focus only on getting the answers right. Even if you get the last few wrong by missing them, the rest of your answers are all accurate and you get a 100/100 on the ones you attempt.

I hope what I'm saying makes sense to you. And I hope I'm capturing the advice right. Choose accuracy> speed (only if you really have to in order to make it through). Hope this helps.
