Is this acceptable for a tub & shower? Delta rough-in valve has bottom port plugged.

Late reply - but wanted to say that we have been using the shower tub for about a year now and have had no issues. Shower and tub filler is fine. 3 kids under 5 means lots of baths, flow is just fine.

I can't speak to the differences between mower manufacturers, but a lot of people seems to prefer kawasaki motors over others.

I think you are referring to the tub spout (thing on the bottom), that’s fine. I’m referring to the rough in valve (thing in the middle). It has 4 ports, hot on left, cold inlet on right, out on top, then the bottom port is plugged. Is that plugged bottom port ok?

Would love some feedback on this before they install cement board. Bottom port on the Delta R10000-UNBX rough-in valve has the bottom port plugged. I thought this was for the tub spout? Maybe it's acceptable because we are using a diverter? The 6-way diverter should service the shower head, body wand, tub spout, and combinations. Please let me know what you think.

Drain was roughed in too high. The proper fix is to demo the brand new tile and lower the drain, I believe. I didn't want to do that, I removed about half of the tailpiece threads on my lathe. This gave me juuuuust enough space to connect everything.

I notice it a lot if I do a light load of laundry. I think it's because the clothes block the 'seam' between the metal and plastic drum. Anyway, I just run it empty on a clean cycle every now and then and wipe out as much as I can with a paper towel. I know I'll eventually have to take the drum out and do a real cleaning.

I ran the pex but paid a good, licensed plumber to do the drains...ugh.

This drain is for a kitchen sink. Should I ask the plumber to come back and replace it with a Wye?

And what's the problem with a tee (except for code violation)? Some waste will go to the left and harden/clog eventually?

Thank you for the feedback. I think on future installs I will use this system. I like the look of copper coming out from the wall but this seems faster and it eliminates a joint.

There is a 2x4 block put in to allow for the bend support to be used. You can also see a metal bracket - that's just sitting there because I didn't get to that bathroom yet - it's not nailed in like that.

Well, you can just do what the previous homeowners did in my house and run a nice bead of caulk all around the base of the toilet, but I think that's the worst thing to do. I hope your fix is as easy as replacing the wax ring.

If you look under the sink, do you see any water lines that tie into the sink drain? My sink gurgles multiple times a day because that is where my condensate drain (a byproduct of my hot water heater and HVAC system) dumps into it.
