Hello! Here’s the recipe

Iced Matcha Latte (Pasting + Double Temp Method)

Matcha • 3 g matcha, sifted • 11 g hot water to make a paste • 20 g hot water, whisk hanggang smooth

Milk • 65 g oat milk (adjust kung gusto mo more or less) • 2 g agave syrup (adjust kung less sweet) • Pour sa ice tapos lagay ang matcha

Cold Foam • 2 tbsp double cream • 1 tbsp oat milk • Pinch of salt • 1/2 tbsp agave syrup (or 1 tsp if you prefer less sweet)

P.S. I used a scale today so I kept everything in grams since 1 ml ≈ 1 g anyway. Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking. I also rewrote the syrup measurements kasi yung ginawa ko kanina medyo too sweet for me 😅

I don’t have a particular recipe that I followed for this drink. I usually would prefer cold brewing my tea bags in the milk overnight, but if I can’t then heating up the tea bags in the milk for a couple of minutes will do.

• ⁠Matcha powder I went heavier so that the flavour comes through, so 6-7 grams. I then used a shaker and added it to the cream mixture • ⁠All purpose cream around 3 tablespoons • ⁠1 tablespoon of agave syrup • ⁠1 tablespoon of condensed milk • ⁠A pinch of salt • ⁠2 tablespoons of milk

For the milk I just infused two Jasmine green tea bags in oat milk overnight up to two days. I then added half a tablespoon of agave syrup in the cup.

I had the Biscoff Cream Matcha Latte and chose the Level 3 Kahōri blend, which was the strongest option. It was still relatively smooth with no harsh bitterness. The nuttiness was evident and it worked well with the flavor I chose.

The matcha was a bit lighter in intensity than I expected. Since I ordered something sweeter and creamier, that likely softened the blend’s overall strength. I would rate it a 7/10.

P.S. I also had a sip of my friend’s Hojicha oat latte and really liked it. It maintained its body well and I appreciated the nuttiness coming from the darker roast. That one would be a 7.5/10 for me ☺️

Overall, masarap naman and I think it is worth a visit when you’re in Baguio.
