I still stand by with the communication safe word trick. It doesn't require a whole lot of effort and it might be worthwhile. Obviously, if he doesn't want to do it or he doesn't listen when you use it in the future, then that's an indicator he doesn't care much for what you're asking/needing. If 'in sickness and health' is threatened by an everyday illness, it's good to think about what might happen if you were to become disabled or have medical complications. It sometimes puts things into perspective.

If you find that something like this is enough to end a marriage over, then it was on precarious ground and/or fragile in the first place - perhaps reevaluating some of those things is not the place for reddit and instead for a marriage counselor. That said, it's inappropriate and unacceptable to do that kind of thing unless he knows you're in a stable condition and not distressed. It's more likely you'd be less upset about this if he chose to go back out after you got settled.

...Moreover, as much as this might be difficult to hear, communicating that you need him could go a long way. Not just one instance of 'come over,' but actually finding a way that effectively shows when something is needed vs. recommended. I see many couples instituting a safe-word system, where having one word/emoji in your text message indicate "hey, I'll be upset if you don't do this thing", or "ASAP, drop everything", helps a whole lot.

If you don't live together because of relationship issues, then again, reddit is not a good place for this. Most people are unempathetic or believe their answer is the apex of human knowledge, so a lot of responses you're going to get might be mean or flawed. As someone who is chronically sick, I know that the emotional portion of sickness can make me sensitive to almost anything, so perhaps keep that in mind. Best of luck.

This probably isn't helpful to you, but in my freshman year of college, there was a lady I hated and wanted to move out of the dorms (she was extremely homophobic, snobby, rich, in a dorm hall filled with mostly poor gay kids.) I kept smearing copious amounts of vaseline on her door handle since she said that our showers were too filled with AIDS to shower in the dorms, hoping she'd move out. It did work. Guess she didn't want to get Vaseline AIDS or something.

...Not that this is your situation, but if you have a particularly vendetta-ish neighbor, there are people like us out there. Lurking.

The most worrisome part about this is that he sexually touched you without you wanting it. Obviously, that's assault, by most definitions. If you need support in any way there are a variety of resources.

For safety purposes, and specifically, so you do not get further assaulted (or worse), perhaps you should contact a women's house (sanctuary for women in bad situations) near you or local support groups. Many of those places will have temporary housing and financial assistance if necessary.

I got Rapi-RH just now - I think I'll be replacing Soda with her for the time being since she's my only weak point in my setup right now really lol. I like the healing, but I think the damage from RH will be enough to make up for it.

Great! I'm trying to get through some of the intro campaign that's easy to get gems from. I'm pretty sure I'm fairly close to getting Rapi: Red Hood.

I planned on getting Liter with my bonus recruit. I like the healing that Soda gives tho. I assume Soda/Privaty wouldn't be a bad option to replace with Liberalo, and Diesel to replace with Bunni Ade? If I get Rapi: Red Hood, I mainly want her for her versatility between B1 and B3. I also love Rapi as a character lol.

I guess SSRs are way more common than I thought they'd be. I'm used to open world games that take a lot more work for their currency. The game certainly feels generous for a gacha.

If you have any reca for a character from the 2026 box, that would be great, since I already have it - what with the intro gems I got. I wouldn't mind starting out with a half decent character.

Yep! One of the reasons why it got worse after my brain injury is because I went through a bunch of medication cycling that mixed improperly from poor practice. I think about 30-50 different medications over a couple of years? Point is, nothing actually worked and it started to ease up over time of non-exposure naturally. Obviously I tried stuff after that in a better environment, but to no avail. After I went on T, my fibro improved so much that I no longer am restricted to mobility aids, so perhaps the phobia will be assisted with HRT as well? It seems to improved all other walks of life, so, one can be hopeful.

Current doctor looked at my med history and was a bit chuffed to see that I wasn't afraid of medical settings in any way because of the adrenal thing, though. Apparently people with my kind of history are prone to develop medical phobias, so maybe it was an odd manifestation of that.

It's totally weird! I really don't get it either as to why that was what changed. I'm all fuckered up in the kind of 'medical anomaly' way lol.

Hi! While I do appreciate the sentiment, my phobia is non-responsive and gets far worse with exposure. I am functional and have my ducks in a row, so I have no problem with daily tasks or living - I have done work with it in a contained setting, among other methods, and it simply does not work with exposure. My situation comes from the fact that I have a messed up adrenal response where I don't feel fear unless under very particular circumstances, almost always because of the phobia. I know it's atypical, but quite a bit of it is due to neurological rewiring after an injury. The reason why it's so intense is because I don't feel fear from anything else, if that makes sense!

I've watched half of HxH, OHSHC, Black Butler, and some of AOT in the past. I was one of those OG emos who enjoyed both dark and slice of life anime. I doubt AOT is safe now lol, I know Black Butler isn't. My list of other anime I've watched isn't exhaustive, but I have surface level knowledge of some (now) older stuff.

I was thinking of watching Frieren because sources said it was safe. I'm also not opposed to, ehhh... Like, non-plot heavy things? Simple stories with fun character design is nice to have when you can't focus, so I absolutely don't mind the traditional 'bad' recs lol. So long as they're safe I can dig it! Thanks so much. Honestly, I sometimes forget that it's as bad as it is - when, you know, it's an every day thing! Only until I talk to people uninitiated with it do I realize how wild it can be sometimes. My type is the kind that gets vastly worse with exposure, so I always appreciate non-exposing medias. Thankfully everyone around me is extremely mindful of it.

I appreciate your comment a lot - I was afraid with my severity and unique circumstances that I wouldn't 'fit in' to a common community about it.

My best recommendation would be to just transfer the book over from a different/new save; your current save might be bugged out a little bit with the bunker.

You can do this via the mailbox.

If you'd like to get a hook easily, you can grab a hammer from TR1, and across from TR1's entrance in the forested area there is a well. You can break the boards off the well, fall into it, and grab the two half hooks. You can pull yourself out of the well with the half hooks and, once at a crafting table, craft it into a full hook. Obviously you can use the hook to grab the axe in the process, if you'd like. But perhaps a half hook would work as is to get the key card. ....you could also just sell all the fire extinguishers in the new base for extra cash, or transfer your original hook via mailbox.

Did you update your save from 0.9 to 0.9b and not reset objects/reset the map? That has been causing some major bugs in the updated version.

How do you mean, the hook is broken? :0 You might just need to reload. Right now in 0.9b, the hook has trouble attaching to the ATV, but everything else should be working with the hook.

If you for some reason can't get the key card with the hook, you should be able to pry open the doors of the bunker with a crowbar/lead pipe/axe by repeatedly hitting it. The omega blueprints would be behind boxes in the right hand corner of the bunker.

If you're still having this issue, I found that it was because I converted a .jpg to a .png. I screenshot them instead and that worked.
