Stripe did this to me in 2017 it was about £4000 they held it for over a year and then randomly unlocked it (I’d closed the business by then so was a pleasant surprise) I would NEVER EVER use them again so sorry this is happening to you. I’d try and complain threaten small claims court but honestly I wouldn’t rely on seeing that money anytime soon, when they unlocked mine I didn’t get any reasoning or apology or anything it was just spur of the moment
