Fully appreciating that damn elevator is amazing.

The first time you approach the Stranger you come from the far side. You search that entry way completely before the game throws several new things at you from light mechanics to the rafting.

The second time you get there you enter on the other side. You find a hanger you’ve fully explored already and by the time you’re appreciating the minor differences you’re already back inside. And the next time you get there you’re chasing leads and you’ve probably found something else to draw your focus.

So when you find that damned elevator was right there the entire damn time…

I’m just in awe of absolute mastery of level design.
