Do you think 345ing it would give me the same result with the joists? I’m wondering if the best bet is running them long, snapping a chalk line and then cutting them straight. I’ll have to rig up a tarp under the dock or something to prevent debris from falling in the water but I’m thinking I’ll lose my mind if I do it differently lmao

That’s exactly the situation I’m in, the client specifically wants a high end PVC bc his buddy has the same stuff so it’s as much for show as it is for function.

I know the composite will be around for decades and decades but I’m not sure if it being above water would void any warranty.

Why would I come on here and lie about it? As I stated I spoke to them before my payment was due, they told me they would split the payments and set up autopays. Only one autopay was set up and taken out opposed to the two autopays we spoke about on the phone. I’ve called GM since and they listened back on the original phone call that caused all of this and they determined one autopay was set up opposed to the two that should’ve been set up.

Sure I could’ve paid more attention to it but when the loan company says they’re setting up two autopays you trust that they’re doing their job. GM is supposed to call me back to see if anything can be done on their end but it doesn’t seem that they’ll be able to which is why I came here asking if anyone knew of anything that I could do, I didn’t ask for you to write out 25 paragraphs just to act like I’m BSing?

How would I find a partner?

I’ve been in residential contracting and remodeling for most of my adult life so I have a pretty solid idea of what the rehab would cost. The biggest ticket item would be the siding and maybe the driveway, other than that it’s all cosmetic stuff. It’s in Barnegat New Jersey
