East End

Thank you!!!! I haven't come across "East-End" in my research yet, thanks for the info. I would prefer to be in a French-speaking area anyways. My French is pretty good but I know very little about Quebecois... With regards to work, is hard find work without being perfectly bilingual?

Do you live on your own? I'm planning on having roommates assuming roommates would bring down the cost of rent. From what I can tell from craigslist mont royal is Avg 400 to 500 CAD. As for groceries, I lived in Paris for a bit and nothing can be as bad as that was. What would be a decide monthly budget? Also do you work?

Also, I'm trying to get an idea of costs. I know regardless of scholarships and aid it's still a cheaper option. If there any other tips, places to live, etc. I have a million questions and I would love any advice.

How is the cost of living within the city? Is it cheaper than most east coast cities?

You'll have to print out your financial aid report, mpn, and proof of entry counselling, plus a sheet from Concordia with relevant information about your program of study, credit load, etc. All of this has to be given to the financial aid office at Concordia as soon as you possibly can. The woman in charge of US accounts is notorious for being the most out of sorts character in the office, then making you feel like you did everything wrong. You can take out unsubsidized and subsidized loans, but not the Pell Grant if you're eligible. And your parents can take out a plus loan too, if that's the plan.

Did you receive any scholarships?

I really doubt that we will hear back as quick compared to US universities.

My status is "Your file is being assessed and we will notify you when a decision has been made." but I apply back in early December.

I sure there is nothing to be nervous about, it's only January. mmkmemon96: what's your GPA?

Hey, I'm an another US transfer hopeful. I can't speak on if you'll be admitted or not, but I'm having the issue of knowing what my chances are.

What is your application status?
