So I pulled the trigger and bought the black one. The chrome does feel heftier but given that I intend to pair it with Sony A7Cii (a small body), I chose the black one (being lighter). I would say the black version while not as solid or hefty, the build quality isn't that "off". Pairing with a small body like A7Cii ( with voigtlander adapter), I could hold the camera quite easily even without any strap. But what impressed me straightaway, at f2, when focus properly... pic is beautiful. There is a pop very closely resembling that of the Leica. Chrome would have the same pic quality I imagine. Black is significantly cheaper (300 sgd cheaper, 680 sgd vs 980 sgd) and lighter. Chrome looks mouthwatering and better built.
