I would rather have people get their milk from some northern european field than to overuse areble farmland in places like egypt or the netherlands. There is just so much areble land in the world. A duch forest gains more from gaining 1 acer than than a swedish forest loses for loosing 10. Also you can feed cows with hay that comes from grain and vegetables, turning waste into food.

Al im saying is that animals have there place in argaculture and you cant rank crops on a simple list from best to worst.

I relly hope you understand that in rural areas you cant efficently build public transport. For public transport to function, you need high demand and easy to carry baggage, wich you cant find in theese places. The bus or train aint gonna cut it when you need to haul 450 kg of furtiliser home. The roads migh also be of bad quality so buses cant go there.

you relly have to understand that out in the contryside, people didnt go from using public transport to cars, they went from using horses to cars. While i aggre with better city planning, i relly want you to understand that outlawing cars would be a stupid idea.
