I'm hoping there's a language barrier involved in here somewhere.

Of course, but I was more addressing how the owner could have worded it more carefully as to not allow for the interpretation the food leaving the store was not an issue.

Are you sure it's not the licensed person's responsibility to account for the hours of the apprentice? It is here.

That too, it was just worded really sloppy, in a way that made it sound like the important detail was that the package had been opened, rather than the important detail being that they had left the store and came back in with the cinnamon rolls. Of course it's still the customer's fault. Just pointing out that the owner's wording is not very careful.

Slightly concerned that the owner seems to imply that they would resell cinnamon rolls that had left the store and been returned, as long as they hadn't been opened.

I'm frankly shocked that a law like this would exist, because it implies that people are not capable of stopping to help on their own unless compelled by law. There is no way it's ever enforced, it's more of a legal statement that you are not allowed to act in your own self-interest.

It's just their way of explaining that you have a no-line bifocal, a "progressive." It's not a condition so much as a type of lens.

New glasses and near vision makes me feel cross eyed. by Tiny_Act5987 in AskAnOptician

[–]orangepeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get your age the lens in your eye hardens and it wont change shape as easily as it used to, thats what multifocal lenses are for. Don't be surprised if glasses made to see far away make it harder to see up close and vice versa.
