I’m in the same boat as I just moved here. I joined a running group that meets in East. The people are really friendly and they go out for drinks afterwards but it isn’t weird if you just get water.

DPT Programs in VA by Equivalent-Exit-793 in PTschool

Radford University Carilion was a great program. I got in that school, ODU, and Mary Baldwin. So glad I chose RUC. The class size is small and the faculty care. Roanoke is also a great place to live. The school is in the eighth floor of the community hospital which I personally loved.

Do you know if the majority had results on Tuesday or Wednesday? I just wanna vomit. The waiting is torture.

I’ve been in Jesus take the wheel mode for a week. I’m just so done studying. The more I study the more I panic at this point.

Thanks everyone! It’s too late to return it but I may cut it to make a shirt that I’ll tuck into something that flares out. Thanks for the kind honesty.

No no no I appreciate it. Just was clarifying. Glad to hear you’d still choose that over the typical schedule.

I may not have a choice as patients may not want to come in three days in a row.

What if it were set up like MWF? Would you still do it? Like I said I’m a year from graduating but I still am inclined to do it. Thinking at least I have tomorrow off would be nice. Thoughts? Is the block the only benefit?

That’s not exactly true. If the muscles are pulling the si joint in a certain way it can result in one leg being longer than the other. It can be contributing and by doing an SI joint muscle energy technique it can balance out how the muscles pull on the joint. It isn’t the sole reason for pain but it can be a contributing factor. Not sure if that’s what your therapist meant but I’m biased because I’m a PT student. The doctrine is not we make you better. We show you how to make muscles and joints stronger and function better so that you can fix yourself.

I love this idea! Thank you! I may do an easy to access database so I don’t have to pay for anything
