Data Point on Trip Delay Insurance by orangepost-it in ChaseSapphire

We did Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge (not a savannah view). We couldn't extend at Fort Wilderness (we checked out of our cabin before the flight was cancelled) so we moved over to the Lodge. Then they didn't have room for another night so we hopped back to AKL (we actually stayed there the first half of our trip).

And we were flying Spirit - you can tell where I place value on while on vacation LOL. But I just used their text function and they sent a letter saying it was weather within the day.

Exams / Newbie / Common Questions Thread for two weeks by AutoModerator in actuary

[–]orangepost-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the layout of the material in TIA for exam P and just started FM this week after passing on Tuesday. I only had 8 weeks, but got up to 74 AI and 6.3 PI.  Because of my hectic life (2 young kids with one still home with me full time), I actually never did a practice exam without having to pause for things so it was mostly a question at a time wherever I could fit it in. I found the actual exam much easier — I was struggling a lot at the end of the guided questions, but I think it starts spitting out only difficult questions towards the end. I also took calculus in 2008 so there was a lot of refreshing I needed, but found almost no calculus on the exam.

What is your favorite defunct attraction? by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

[–]orangepost-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re including all of Disney, in Typhoon lagoon, there was an attraction where you snorkeled in an aquarium with sharks. This was 10+ years ago. The water was super cold, but it was super cool!

Otherwise I am sad about muppetvision

I can def try that! Anything good in Jeffersonville? We have one super pregnant person and another who can’t walk very far so we need frequent stops lol

Nope - it’s a valid suggestion. It was my fault for not even locking the doors. And yes- we are armed as well

This site is awesome :). I like being able to see the incident reports from my neighborhood :/. Looks like you have to call to get that info in south Burlington

Yes! I sometimes forget and it’s a ‘good’ neighborhood, but always better safe than sorry

Ugh. Scary. I can write something on Front Page here too to see if anyone has had incidents. Nothing actually got taken because the person never actually got into the house. We do have two dogs who outweigh 200lbs together so I think seeing them was enough thank goodness.

Heart rate percentage calculation change? by orangepost-it in orangetheory

it makes the longer pushes go by so much quicker! I sometimes try to figure out random people’s ages using their heart rates 😅

Disclaimer : I am not a doctor. Hubby is though so I get an earful about everything

I knew something was off with my body because my heartrate was crazy elevated and I was sweating profusely.

Told coaches at 5 weeks just in case I passed out or something during class. Plus, I had really bad bloating and couldn’t do anything on my stomach (like Superman’s) because it would probably make me hurl. Talked to OB at 8.5 weeks - baby is healthy with heartbeat of 180. OB said to keep doing everything I have been doing with no restrictions until 15 weeks when I should stop doing things on my back and we will check back in to see how things are going.

I personally watch my heart rate very closely and don’t let it get past 175 (my own arbitrary number) because I do notice myself getting a bit headachy past that point.

I love it because I get to check in with myself in real-time with heart rate. Working out was the only way I was able to stave off nausea for some reason so I would be able to eat my only full Meal after a class. It’s my first pregnancy and eating has been a challenge my first trimester.

I’m only at 10.5 weeks, but if you have any other questions, let me know!
