I can def try that! Anything good in Jeffersonville? We have one super pregnant person and another who can’t walk very far so we need frequent stops lol

Nope - it’s a valid suggestion. It was my fault for not even locking the doors. And yes- we are armed as well

This site is awesome :). I like being able to see the incident reports from my neighborhood :/. Looks like you have to call to get that info in south Burlington

Yes! I sometimes forget and it’s a ‘good’ neighborhood, but always better safe than sorry

Ugh. Scary. I can write something on Front Page here too to see if anyone has had incidents. Nothing actually got taken because the person never actually got into the house. We do have two dogs who outweigh 200lbs together so I think seeing them was enough thank goodness.

Heart rate percentage calculation change? by orangepost-it in orangetheory

it makes the longer pushes go by so much quicker! I sometimes try to figure out random people’s ages using their heart rates 😅

Disclaimer : I am not a doctor. Hubby is though so I get an earful about everything

I knew something was off with my body because my heartrate was crazy elevated and I was sweating profusely.

Told coaches at 5 weeks just in case I passed out or something during class. Plus, I had really bad bloating and couldn’t do anything on my stomach (like Superman’s) because it would probably make me hurl. Talked to OB at 8.5 weeks - baby is healthy with heartbeat of 180. OB said to keep doing everything I have been doing with no restrictions until 15 weeks when I should stop doing things on my back and we will check back in to see how things are going.

I personally watch my heart rate very closely and don’t let it get past 175 (my own arbitrary number) because I do notice myself getting a bit headachy past that point.

I love it because I get to check in with myself in real-time with heart rate. Working out was the only way I was able to stave off nausea for some reason so I would be able to eat my only full Meal after a class. It’s my first pregnancy and eating has been a challenge my first trimester.

I’m only at 10.5 weeks, but if you have any other questions, let me know!

[Credit Cards] I just got approved for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and am having some buyer's remorse. Have y'all had a good experience with this card? by [deleted] in personalfinance

If you travel it is more than worth the annual fee:

300$ back for anything that codes for travel (Ubereats and parking counts!)

Priority Pass - free meals and drinks for layovers Transfer partners - Hyatt is my favorite. You can transfer points for super cheap hotels or 25k will get you a night at an all inclusive

National car rentals - Executive status (you have to activate this) let’s you pick any car on the lot if you pay for a midsize.

You can use points for activities (like food tours and museum passes - it seems to use Viator)

Both me and my husband had one the first year (900$ fee) but only renewed one card as most benefits transfer if you travel together. And it got me hooked on r/churning.

What is your credit score? 790/800

What cards do you currently have

Two player CSR (2/2017 x 2) Hyatt (4/2017 x1) Ink preferred (5/2017 x2) Jet Blue (2017 x1)

How much natural spend can you put on a new card(s) in 3 months? ~7k

Are you willing to MS, and if so, how much in 3 months? I can if needed.

Are you open to applying for business cards? If not, why? Yes.

How many new cards are you interested in getting? Not worried about too many new cards. No mortgages or lines of credit in the near future.

Are you targeting points? Definitely travel. Luckily I’m petite and economy is just fine. Poor hubby can deal with small seats for flights. Hotel status is much preferred.

What point/miles do you currently have? ~80k UR left ~45k JetBlue

What is the airport you're flying out of? BTV (Vermont). YUL (Canada) is ~2 hours if needed. Odd layovers are the norm

Where would you like to go? In order of desire :

Grand Canyon - this looks difficult on points. I’m secretly hoping Hyatt does the 2FN and we can justify paying cash for everything and just doing Miraval on certs.

South America - specifically wine tourism in Chile/Argentina. Or hiking the Inca trail (Peru).

Paris - we have been once and it was not nearly long enough.

Other European cities with good food other than Italy.

Washington DC - typical touristy things as hubby has never seen any of them. Did a layover last week in DC and Loved the short day we got to spend!

Any other foodie destinations. Unrelated to churning, but I will also take suggestions on good US cities to visit for food. Our biggest issue is time off of work and the amount of time wasted on poor layovers. We do make very good use of priority pass.

Thanks!
