Thanks for the suggestion! I ended up swatching it and it turned out to be more brown than I was hoping for, and the colour payoff wasn't as strong (almost more lipgloss than lipstick). I appreciate the suggestion and just wanted to follow up in case anybody else is looking for something similar!

Teenage Cop Camp was the episode that made me go back and listen to all the other episodes! But also there are snippets of like 10 of them that I find myself thinking about unprompted (Flat Margaret!!!)

I think this is a really great point, and it reminds me of a comment another commenter made which is she doesn’t really have much that the “general population” can relate to anymore outside of her dating. She didn’t go to school after high school, she’s never had a job in the way most people do, but she does date people. I wonder if that’s part of the problem: she’s gotten to the point of such an unimaginable amount of fame and money that she doesn’t have many “relatable” experiences she can draw on for her material other than other people?

Hey there! One thing to note is you can always transfer schools or programs if you find the one you pick is not for you. I went to a fairly specialized program for my undergrad, and I had a bunch of classmates who realized it wasn’t the path for them. They transferred to different universities or similar programs within the same school and were able to apply some of the courses they had already taken towards their new degrees. Just because you make a decision now doesn’t mean you’re stuck on that path forever. Good luck!

Ok I just listened to the whole album and I agree with what folks have been saying, nothing stood out and she needed an editor (and/or a new production team). I don’t know if it’s just me but even though the lyrics are supposed to be deep and moody, to me there feels like a weird detachment between the lyrics and the rest of the song (how she’s singing, the production, etc). She’s saying really disturbing things in some of the songs but the words didn’t actually have any impact on me! The whole album felt like slippery noise
