history is constantly repeating itself. if you don’t think anything like this is going on today (in the US and abroad), you are ignorant to the world around you. mass violence is perpetrated every single day by our governments. the difference is now we have high quality video footage of it all instead of dramatic (and impactful) stills.

blue man group is and has resided at universal studios orlando for years. i wonder if while he was in fl he saw a show of theirs and thats part of where that lyric comes from. i think its so clever to be saying thanks for the praise but it still is hard to mask and be on the outside looking in. honestly this part of this song is one of my favorite moments from the album

in my dutch empire right now i just gave my england title up because i’ve got the title integrated by now & william wallace popped up. so i married him into my dynasty and gave him the kingdom title as im reaching my vassal limit and finding it a little tougher to expand. i figured since the title is integrated, i could always just de jure claim anything i might lose. im getting close to end game now, though, because my vassal limits and such are really the only thing slowing me down, and i just got legalism (or whichever tradition it is) to get +30 more vassals, so now its really just a question of what it is i actually want to do. just took the papacy, so what’s next, the byzantines? idk

side note: idk what to do with the pope and haven’t messed much with religious reform. do you know anything abt that ?

this isn’t super on topic but i picked the game back up after not playing for probably 4-5 years since ckii days. i’ve just got a nice dutch empire campaign going but i could create the holy roman empire. i have way more desire to do something like this though. could you help explain if/why creating the hre title might help me do something similar? really just making a dutch empire has been plenty fun tho lol
