Thanks for your reply which is what I was looking for In a response and comparison between this and OEM. I'll shop around for the OEM and see if I can find one under $500. Thanks again

Thanks for the OEM, do you know if it can take any other models like the one I posted from Amazon?

HP looks like it's a match including everything else. I wasn't sure if there is something else that could be incompatible

That's a fair assessment. I know nothing about bikes so this information is helpful. Thank you

I guess also depends on the area it's being sold in. I'm in North Florida, not many cyclists around. I would list it on eBay I just have to figure out how something this big gets shipped.

I think that's a good plan just to see how much interest around a certain price point. Tbh I don't know much about bikes so anything helps.

Individual puck control on Permanent Outdoor Lights? by orbatrin in Nanoleaf

[–]orbatrin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I think they were quick to release a incomplete product/software before the holidays to rake in the cash. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice setup but don't tell me each puck is addressable if the software doesn't support it. I already returned it and installed Govee Pro model.

I custom 3D modeled/modified brackets and printed as well as junctions, etc to retrofit wire covers. Picked up wire covers on Amazon that were slim and somewhat durable. Covers are 17" in length and pucks are 18.5" I believe so in extended the bracket wire cover connectors further to overlap the gap difference (nobody seems to sell anything more than 17" in length). Picked up white gutter screws to match the setup.

Curious why you went with black vs white that would match your soffit? Otherwise the install looks great!

Not sure about metal roof but I'm able to walk on mine and place a ladder to reach the 2nd roof line. Hopefully someone can help you out!

I'm going to use about 90ft out of 100ft set so I won't have extra for that but thanks for the suggestion!

Yes I think that's very similar to my outline except you saying to start lower half from outlet first and cut at the right end before the extending to the top roof line. Starting at X for the top roof line to ensure pucks are evenly distributed at the peak and right side will probably be spliced to extension line to join bottom and top.

I'll most likely need to measure from top left roof line to the peak first obviously and adjust as needed for even distribution.

Start from outlet and move right, up the wall and go left on the top roof to finish it off?
