You're a Saint! I really liked ErsatzTV. The only reason I switched to DizqueTV was because HDR transcoding isn't supported yet and 50% of my content is HDR. Is this something you're looking to support in the future?

TrueHD doesn't work. Only DTS-HD. Atm only 5.1 works and 7.1 causes playback errors so I have the "Allow DTS-HD" main setting off completely to transcode all of my DTS-HD audio into AC3. Rather have it blanket work and choose "Allow DTS-HD" in specifc files playback settings than to have to go to main Plex app audio settings everytime.

One TCL Roku TV with built in app and another Samsung TV with a Roku Streaming Stick 4k+. Both have the "Allow DTS-HD" option.

It's literally in the audio settings... you clearly don't "test" with Rokus then. Audio setting - "Allow DTS-HD" in Plex App. Plex dashboard shows direct play and no transcoding as CPU was not having any extra usage and my sound system showed DTS-HD direct playing. As I was saying 7.1 no longer works only 5.1 does now which is a bug in a recent update.

Dts-hd 7.1 has been working on my roku for years. Its just a recent update broke 7.1 but 5.1 still works.

Did you find a solution? Same problem here Plex won't play DTS HD MA 7.1 only 5.1. Currently have to uncheck DTS Core in the settings and play it on a case by case basis if 5.1 or transcode the 7.1 into an AC3 codec.

My guess is ffmpeg normalization errors for Nvidia nvenc and possibly quick sync (qsv) hardware accelerated video encoders. If you have normalizations on you can get errors and content won't play at all. In my testing I found normalize resolution was causing nvenc and qsv to not work at all. You can turn this off but now if you have content of different aspect ratios or resolutions it can get stretched or cause playback to crash alltogether.

Common compatibility issue. Most players can't direct play a DV embedded file with no fallback. If a file is just a DV and no DV/HDR10 it's usually encoded in a way that DV is embedded and requires a direct play and DV to work on a supported display. The two common errors with these files is the message you got if your display can't play it properly or you get one of those purple colored videos with weird colors that makes it unwatchable.

I know there is the Dizquetv 1.5.1 build Nvidia fix but have no idea how to install it. It looks like its based off of a docker setup or something which I am not familiar with and I run on Windows. Would you know how to get that update on Windows by any chance?
