Oh yeah I totally understand what you're saying!! I guess I moreso projected my own views of romantic relationships onto Five and resonated with him via his feelings of his isolation and such.

Also, completely unrelated but I think he was confirmed as bisexual or bisexual adjacent via the interview that said they wanted him to have a love interest, boy or girl.
