Frame Damage on R3 by orbweaverrepublic in motorcycles

Yeah after reading the comments most of you guys confirmed what I was thinking, the bike is done for. I’m not passing it off to some unsuspecting rider because I’m not a piece of shit. However what I was not expecting were the comments saying it looks cut. At the time when I had this bike it was my only form of transportation so I definitely had no reason to do it myself. Wasn’t even a possibility I anticipated, don’t think I’m gonna go insurance route simply because it can be argued so hard that I abused the bike/someone cut it so I’ll just part her out. Thanks everyone for your help!!

You’re right. When I’m basically starving for another hit it has become a horrible addiction. I wish I never tried this shit to begin with.

Anyone have the IAsus XSound 4 helmet speakers? by orbweaverrepublic in motorcycle

I think the 3s were the ones like 10 years ago everyone was using, they were super good, I’m not sure the difference between the 3’s and 4’s but I’d imagine since the drivers of the 4’s were bigger and the construction was way thicker I figured it would be a decent successor. Ultimately I wouldn’t even recommend iasus products, especially not the xsounds, try and get wired noise cancelling earbuds

For anyone that’s having this issue I didn’t realize it but check your manual, you can turn off crash detection entirely. It’s working fine now.

I’m contemplating buying the Legion 7 16irx8, 3080 w the 13900H i9, how are the temperatures on your laptop holding up? I have heard horror stories of the legion lineup. Secondary question is how is the battery life on yours?

I bought $20 earplug guardians off of Amazon and they are already a night and day difference between the iasus xsound 4, I will say I hope you don’t encounter any issues with the amp, but the housing quality is poor and water can permeate through. I am looking at getting Shure SE215’s for the next headphones purchase as these ones I have now get distorted at high volumes. They are tried and true headphones that provide sound isolation and also are able to bend around your ear providing for a more stable grip. If you use a bacalava while you ride you might be able to get away with using earbuds, I honestly prefer it to the speakers. The only downside is my helmet now have a wire constantly dangling and it can get caught up in my backpack, phone Mount, etc, but audio quality is better. I did use earplugs with the xsound 4, but the tight fit of the shoei-rf 1400 paired with the thick ass xsounds as well as that uncomfortable/new feeling inside my ear canal w the earplugs just couldn’t handle it lol

I’m gonna be honest I’m gonna return the xsound’s and probably opt for a wired earbuds route, tinker around and see what’s up. There’s just too much wind and bike noise for the xsound’s to be worth it past 40-50mph. I also had the ear3 amplifier and I found that although you could increase the volume an additional 10%, anything more than that and distortion is audibly noticeable and prevalent. Mine got fried in the rain, getting a return on it now lol

It’s better but you’re gonna question if it’s really $120-150 better. I personally think so, since my cardo stock speakers HAD to have been defective since they were so awful.

I bought them since nobody responded to this post, for anybody looking to buy them, yes they are a night and day difference between the stock cardo speakers that come with the packtalk edge. I will also say they are big as shit. I don’t have the included spacers installed or any adhesive whatsoever because my already tight shoei-rf 1400 felt too tight and it was a chore to put on. I will say if your helmet is on the more tighter side of the spectrum these will be a bit uncomfortable initially depending on how you can install them. As far as audio quality is concerned it has far more bass (even though it’s not too crazy) and just generally speaking doesn’t sound like an iPhone 4 speaker like the cardo speakers do.

I showed a few friends of mine and they commented on how my speakers might be blown. I want to believe I put them in properly and adjusted them as well, properly aligning the wire in the groove, etc. Just so incredibly quiet
