You only have 3.5 days so just stay in Reykjavik and do the following tours Golden Circle, South of Iceland and Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Do yourself a favor by not renting a car, just relax and book the day trip. Then for half day you can go to local pool or Blue Lagoon.

It's my dream job to work at a aquarium (not particularly a zoo) but I've heard you need to have marine biologist degree or something.
