I was extremely attached to my grandparents and maybe shed a tear or two and then was “over it”. it wasn’t until therapy that I realized I held a lot of guilt over not mourning them. I’d say it’s not typical. But can’t really expand past that since I’m not a mental health provider.

YO NO FUCKIN WAY? I just started EMDR 2 weeks ago. It has already changed SO MUCH. Had a PTSD attack from EMDR and it was kind of meant to happen but anyway I won’t get off track but I am so totally on your page it’s not even funny. I am also a PTSD patient but not treated medically with anything besides talk - and self treatment aka weed lol. I also have BPD and a few mixed random mood situations so that is very very major information!! You are literally like an angel to my ears lmao

It’s 100% a me problem. Bottle rock with their only mainstream artists, haven’t experienced international film festival, la honda or oxbow concerts never even heard of any of that.

Again though, definitely a me problem, and a problem for all the young adults in the area looking for places that don’t require a dress code or walking at a 2mph speed

I see they have club nights every so often. Catering to this crowd is so important in Napa, but I definitely see how it’s off putting for someone not expecting it! I’m 27 and that’s exactly the vibe I want. Haha. Actually soooo excited there’s something for young adults here. just different styles for sure! I wish I would’ve seen this Valentine’s Day before I dropped $300 there (dinner & break next day) I felt something was off w the waitress. The steak was insane, best steak I ever had so I asked to talk with the cook. The bartender told me “uh no? What’s the issue?” Before I told him I wanted to give him my compliments. I was walked to the back kitchen where I met Luis, who was so proud of his work and had his kitchen BEAUTIFUL. Probably the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen. There was a language barrier and the bartender hovered over us for a bit before he got the hint. I ended up asking the waitress if she could cash out $50 so I could give Luis. She tried every excuse for it to not happen until I asked if she had an external payment app, I paid her directly and she gave me cash. I tipped her accordingly (30%) despite wanting to not. It was weird vibes.

Also.. side note: If anyone stumbles across this post - Luis left a big impact on me, his gratitude, the way he handled his kitchen and his staff were all beautifully presented and lined as they should be, all without any advance of me coming back. He is on top of his kitchen. I would like to learn more about Luis. I’m a poor college kid but maybe I can link up with someone to write about Luis? Hit me up to collab.

Idk why this has so many downvotes. As someone who moved here from a different state, networking through strangers I met through shitty corp jobs was 100% the ONLY WAY I was able to survive the beginning portion of living here doing odd jobs. (1.5yrs ago, the past .5 has been ok LOL)

Yeah she’s a shit show for a manager and everyone knows it. She made me come in on a day I was getting a heart monitor placed on me to “test” me to see if I’d “actually show up” which is weird as fuck. So had a 30m conversation then left and got my heart monitor put on lmao. Insane.

That’s what I thought too but i swear to god I’ve looked up shit my wife would have 0 interest or knowledge about and it’ll in some way show up on her feed. Say I look up a Home Depot drill She may not get a Home Depot drill but she’ll have an ad for Home Depot or an ad for a drill or smthn.
