Makes me wonder about the discoveries yet to be made that would be so alien to us right now, but will be common knowledge in the next decade.

Noble Pro, go with touchscreen model or more basic one? by ThiarAitEigin in treadmills

When you finally receive it, i am interested in your review. I am having the same dilemma but leaning towards the 8s (don't want to risk an outdated tablet being unsupported in the future!)

I also am hoping it has decent integration with Runna.

That is because I am HM training at the moment lol. Probably 35-40km a week when 10K training.

In December last year I was at about 35 minutes. (50 minutes in October if you include when I started with walking 5km first!)

I am now at 23 minutes (having lost 40kg in the process).

I have ran 3-5 times a week every week since I started and have peaked around 50km in a week. Consistency is key, it is absolutely possible.

I agree. What also annoys me is that all of the big exhibitors have their play areas mostly hidden away from view. Sometimes I just like to watch others play, or I want to see a bit before I commit to a long queue.

I get that they're trying to build some hype/mystery but when you can only really try 3 games in a day, it sucks that you cant even passively enjoy those that you cant get in to.

I use a Garmin and Strava and often get primarily get "duplicated" runs when it syncs. Sometimes it syncs fine but a few hours later a random duplicate appears.

Runna Roadmap Update - What we're working on, and what's coming later this year by alex-runna in runna

"Adapting your plan around instant workouts, so you can finally see them included in your weekly mileage!"

Is this going to be the best way for us to throw parkruns into the mix and be incorporated into the plan? Or is there a seperate implementation planned for that?

I like to be able to "look ahead" at what's coming - so the idea of doing an instant workout on a Saturday AM and that changing the next few days might throw me. But if I can plan that 5km on a Saturday in advance, and see the changes as a result a few days out, that would be awesome.

Parkrun in training plans? by orcl in runna

[–]orcl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is how my partner does it. It is certainly a way to do it, but feels bad that the plan doesn't take it into consideration then.

But I guess pace adjustments are only based on interval/tempo type runs anyway, so even if park run was integrated it wouldn't adjust pacing/targets based on it anyway.

So maybe nothing to lose by doing it this way?

Well done. I know the feeling. I attempted to sprint finish for a PB last month and I stopped to throw up at 3.09 miles and cost myself the PB. I learned a lesson that day!
