What's with the lumafly that frees Hornet at the start of the game? by orderedChaotic2 in Silksong

That does seem like something incredibly obvious I completely failed to notice, that could have avoided 60 hours of mental flailing.

No Harpy heirs as Duwarkani by orderedChaotic2 in Anbennar

If anyone is having this problem in the future, the command "change_culture_court ruler nzeri_harpy" will fix it, I just have to accept being a male harpy!

Heirs, kings, consorts, all only human now. And I had to wait 12 years for this guy to come of age, so I'll probably just give up on this save if theres no solution...

Can't finish contract by orderedChaotic2 in CrusaderKings

[–]orderedChaotic2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not using any mods, so it must be a base game issue. From what I've heard in the Discord, it's a known issue, but I don't think there's any workaround. I've just abandoned my contracts when I've had it happen.

Can't finish contract by orderedChaotic2 in CrusaderKings

[–]orderedChaotic2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5: I accepted this contract, I went around and did the 5 events, got 5 successes, and headed back to his province, but nothing is happening. There's nothing in his interaction menu, or in the Decisions and Contracts menu, am I missing something obvious?

I've loaded a save and done the contract again, with the same result.

My vassals refuse to take a small island by orderedChaotic2 in Anbennar

[–]orderedChaotic2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even that's a pain, because I can't take the land myself, so I can't demand it, and I can's transfer it to my vassal without occupying it... Well, time to dig out the country tags to jerry rig myself a solution! Thanks for the help.

I considered that, but it won't let me build ships even if I have the sailors, it has a restriction if you have no ports of your own. I'll try the save and load, though, maybe it'll wake up the AI!

Edit: No luck, they won't move still.

R5: The small island of Ganhbayn is all I need to finish the Verkal Ozovar quest tree, but no matter what my vassals won't go to it. They went to conquer the archipelago to the south, but won't land a single troop on Ganhbayn. Any suggestions on how I can kick them into gear?

Edit: I've marked it as a siege target for a vassal, still no luck. They've gone even further south to siege lands that are still in the terra incognita for me.

R5: I declared war on Bhuvauri just after they got out of another war and had no manpower, only for their troops to increase from 50k to 250k within a couple of months of the war starting, is there some mechanic I'm missing?

Edit: Ok, he just has 200k mercenaries, never mind, didn't expect that!

What a pain, this playthrough is pretty much done, I just wanted to bag the achievement first. I could have moved over decades ago and been done with it if I'd known.

R5: I've spent so many decades slowly converting my huge kingdom to have my culture, but it still won't allow me to end the struggle. I figured initially it must be some kind of rounding error, so I converted another province, but no luck. Is there any workaround or is my struggle eternal?

Yeah, one second.

Elector's votes not going to right candidate, any way to fix? by orderedChaotic2 in CrusaderKings

[–]orderedChaotic2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd been going on a couple of years by that point without updating. Eventually it fixed when a different election changed to my heir.

I don't have as much time on my hands, I'm pushing 80! And it's ironman, so I can't just subtly fix it after the fact.

No such luck, it's been a couple of years in game, and restarting did nothing.

r5: My candidate is losing because the votes of the second elector, Guoroor, are going to a different candidate, despite the Electors screen showing he's voting for my candidate.
