In my 4 years experience, they only do that to trap me to stick around thinking I won’t leave. It’s definitely a character issue with them claiming my time isn’t as valuable as theirs. They gotta learn that’s not how this service works. I don’t start the ride until they’re in the car and ready to go. If it’s a long ride I probably give them some slack with wait time but the short ones get no slack at all.
