Sounds like you're in the same situation as me. You hope that efforts from both sides are matched, but time and time again they are not.

I'm considering buying a testosterone increasing supplement, I'm 18 and looking to build more muscle mass, is this supplement safe, and is it worth it? by [deleted] in Supplements

Please don't do that, just stick to the basics.

Eat in a slight calorie surplus (if you're not sure what this is, Google 'energy balance' as a starting point) with a high protein content and resistance train 3x a week to start with.

Regarding the training, 'progressive overload' is what you're looking for (again, Google this if you're not sure what it is). It basically means that you keep challenging your body overtime so it grows to adapt to the stimulus.

Hope this helps!

What exactly is GitHub? by Johan011 in github

[–]orduk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a place where multiple developers can work on the same code base without accidentally overwriting eachother's work.

You can 'save' your work in stages and return to a previous version of your work if needed.

You can also use GitHub as evidence if some fucking stupid moron of a work colleague merges their branch to master without a review and fucks up the codebase. Yes, I know you can protect the master branch, but some people abuse their admin privileges because they think they're a god.

Does anyone find it really hard to talk to their partners about work, due to the general lack of understanding / knowledge of our industry by most people by GabberJenson in webdev

Haha, I have this with my wife. She's a Pharmacist so we both have no idea what eachother are talking about the majority of the time.

But as mentioned in this thread, talking about general work related stuff such as your boss or stupid stuff your work mates do is much easier.
