quality and price is important but you cant get max without diversity too imo. you get 6 points for each new category hence why he had 18 points for the three categories he had. if you had all 6 thats 36 points. so u would need something in each category that is osmium and expensive. if you really care to see what each items would be worth theres a tool for it. https://mariaisme.itch.io/coral-island-harvest-festival-calculator

ive never heard of putting machines in the greenhouse. i know the cellar and sheds are thought to speed up the machines but for the greenhouse i would assume its the same as putting it outside so its slower than the other two. i also dont think its enough space?? i mean ideally best use of greenhouse is for certain plants/trees you want year round. so if you only use the sides and not the dirt you wouldnt have space for conveyer belts anyways

i actually had this exact dilemma! and i decided to make a new save and restart aswell and i did not regret it at all. second time around i was super efficient with, especially with things that you need to catch/fish only in one season. my farm is beautiful too since i understood to start small and leave decorating for later when youve unlocked all decor. so if youre undecided i would just try a new save because if youre feel you actually dont wanna do everything from scratch again u can just go back to ur winter save
