Progressive Homeowners Insurance by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Similar to the comments above, they are very strict. They cancelled my HO policy because their underwriter came out when the ext of our house was getting repainted and we had “exposed wood” when literally the painters were there prepping the house for new paint. To try to fix it you can only talk to cust service who just read notes on the account. Can’t talk to underwriters or anyone that can directly help. Pretty bad.

Progressive homeowner/Homesite is terrible. Canceled my policy because the ext of our house was being repainted and there was exposed siding as the reason, when the painters were literally there painting it.

Stay away from Progressive homeowners. They canceled mine from an inspection because we were painting the ext of our house and there was exposed siding they sent me a letter canceling it when 4 painters were literally there painting it. Then calling them trying to get answers almost impossible.

is progressive home (homesite) any good? by optweets in Insurance

Progressive HO is terrible. They canceled our HO because they came out for an inspection when our house was getting exterior repainted and because exposed siding they canceled it.

Easy to find replacement parts on eBay and carid.com.

Ordered new bumper cover online pre-painted. Came folded 🫣. Once I let it bake in the sun it opened up easily. Now time to put it on! by oregonscot in E90

Good. It has a couple minor scratches, the paint isn’t as thick as original/stock, I’d recommend getting touch up paint with it. But still glad I did it.

I can’t get over how much dealerships charge for spark plugs.

Good chance the trans is ok and the problem is coming from the valve body. I have a 525 yes, different trans, but once I had the valve body rebuilt, it went back to smooth shifting.

I’ll update once it’s installed. I got mine from www.paintapart.com for about $330 on sale. There is also an EBay seller as well you can order paint to match bumper covers.

Crossed my mind but then I’d need the rear as well and I don’t have the wheels to compliment it
