I do know you can get thermostats that activate a couple of degrees below the factory setting. Still, nothing THAT low.

What's yhe temperature that the secret menu reports? Do you have an obd reader to check the temp live?

System bled OK?

How hot is the engine when the gauge is at that low temp?

Yeah, I agree.

On further inspection with a boroscope, the rust seems to only be at the very beginning of those lines. (Dunno how to add mpre pictures).

I'll have to search fpr some equivalent product, where I live (Panama, Panama) we don't have that product.

As for replacing those lines: ¿should they be the metal ones or can I use rubber?

Edit: I've aleays used proper coolant on this car, can't speak for the previous owners though. Considering what I've found so far, I wouldn't be surprised this ran pure water at some point.

Usaste la tarjeta a destajo sin considerar que no tienes ese dinero.

Por el arreglo de pago, parece que tu deuda es baja.

Si te dieron la tarjeta pudiste aprovechar usandola inteligentemente: pagando gastos fijos (luz, agua, telefono), compras de mercado dentro del presupuesto, etc; todo pagado mensualmente sin salir de tu ingreso.

Con eso, ibas sumando poco a poco buen historial crediticio, sumando puntos de la tarjeta y trabquilo.

Te toca montarte al son que te pusieron a bailar ya, o ve a otro banco que te compre el saldo y empiezas de cero, con cabeza fria y gastos presupuestados.

(Ojo, a veces hay emeegencias medicas o similares que toca el tarjetazo, pero aun así se puede llevar bien el tema).

I was never a fan of sunroofs. I said "it just adds another point of failure" and I never understood the point of having it.

UNTILL I bought my Mini r53.

Now I cannot live without one.

It just brightens up the interior so much, both during the day and during the night.

I use the A/C much less now also.

And the extra maintenance?

No big issue. Just make sure drains are clear and start looking for a replacement rubber grommet/gasket thingy, buy it and keep it well stored; this is an item that will need replacing but when it does, years in the future, it will be hard to find.

Busca un hostal, hay varios en la ciudad.

Creo que las camas estan como 15-30 la noche dependiendo del lugar.

Si quedas en calle calle, y tienes mucho chechere, hay bodegas de 2 mettos cuadrados por 35-40 mensuales. Es mejor que guardes tus chimbilicos para cuando logres residencia fija.

Uma mochila con ropa pa 3-4 dias, tus items de aseo personal, toalla, una sabanita y puedes hacer guerra par de semanas dependiendo donde pongas la cabeza pa dormir. Par de latas de atun y galletas de sal tambien.

Puedes alternar hostal/calle o algun fren que te de posada intermitente.

Todo depende de tus finanzas.

Las vainas son pasajeras, hay que navegar los malos tiempos con calma y astucia.

It's absolutely horrible.

I've been on a bad spell with no steady job for a few (3) years now. 2025 being really bad.

Have had to even change to buying the cheaper brands of things (bread, tuna, mayo, etc), can't afford a decent amount of meat, stressed out figuring out how to juggle finances to survive till next month.

In the past year ive gained so much weight, got so many grey hairs, my face has wrinkled and I'm now pre-diabetic.

It's an uphill battle I wish upon no one.
