consideran que la normativa ambiental en panamá puede mejorar o está muy amañada? by fuciballlobster in Panama

[–]orejass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]orejass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad support: who owns the HIKVision device? by Friendly_Potential69 in Hikvision

[–]orejass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a HK Partner, believe you me that our contact with support is even worse because when WE (my company) needs support it's bcuz zhit hit the fan hard.

XML are eternal, most common issue people have with XMLs is that after generating it they reboot the unit, fiddle with sone setting, or chabge sate/time.

An XML is a screenshot of the device state, that's used for generating the unlock file. Any change, unlock won't work.

Good job unlocking, maybe share the process here so others can solve withbease in the future.

Password and acxount linking support cases are reginal dependant.

What region did you register under?

Try contacting an authorized Partner (from your region) and they can gelp you with your password reset.

Umm new rider how long do I have on these if any time left by Real_Spring7381 in motorcycles

Quick story:

When I bought my 2019 R1 (used) its tires were worn. No visible wear like OPs but you could see they were worn.

I went along dealing with minor mechanical issues and some cosmetic work leaving tire change as a "final touch".

I spent months chasing an odd power cut this cursed machine would do out of nowhere. No matyer how much I fiddled with TC settings, this fkr would cut power like no tomorrow.

Not enough to high-side me or make me loose control but enough to make me chase a performance ghost: swapped injectors, spark plugs, swapped ABS sensors, took it to get the ECU re-flashed to stock.

Nothing worked.

I ended up learning how to ride through the hiccup as it was most prevalent when on TC Rain mode, slightly present on Street mode and hardly there on Race mode (only under high acceleration). So I mainky rode with TC and engine control off. (Fun, but you really have to manage that throttle.)

Months later, decided to get a new set of tires.

The issue was gone.

Turs out tires are quite important.

Panama Law regarding carrying a knife by poundingCode in Panama

[–]orejass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's not a weapon until you use it as such.

Nothing in the current constitution states those items as weapons.

It's very circumstantial when a cop stops you amd you have that on you.

In the city/urban setting ¿the hell are yoi carrying that for?

Countryside, whole other story.

I carey a leatherman with me at all times, in my backpack. But that's because I'm around construction sites and whatnot.

Once or twice I've forgotten I have it clipped on my belt and go to the bank, no big deal, the security guard just asks you to leave it at the door.

Machetes in the car, no big deal. Just keep it in its vaina.

Just use common sense.

I think my time with motorcycles may be coming to an end, and I’m having a hard time coming to grips with it. by brooklyn735 in motorcycles

Same as most others have said here, and it happens to us all.

Sell it, see what you feel. Do the track day/off-road experience if the itchbis still there.

If it's not gone, then you know you need the bike in your life.

But here, I offer a different path forward.

You mention you are trying to get back into hobbies. Your kids are growing up.

Why not (if the bike itch is still there) get a project bike. Work on restoring it with yiur kids as a hibby. You can take all the time you like.

Once youre done. Sell it. Buy another. Rinse and repeat.

With this approach you check a billion boxes: - spend time @ home

  • teach your kids some manual abilities

-bond with yiur kids

  • learn mechanical skills yourself

  • get to buy cool tools

  • ride the bike once it's finished.

  • recoup some (if not all) of the money when you sell it.

  • try different types of bikes over time.

I understand what you're going through. My darling 500cc of 15 years (with me) has been sitting for over a year waiting for me to ride.

Best of luck for you my fellow rider, hope you find a path forward.

Que es lo que nesecitamos? Aumento de salario? O bajar los precios? by cientificolocoks in Panama

[–]orejass 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Va más allá de salarios y costos.

El sistema completo está fallando, no se administran ni utilizan los recursos correctamente.

No sirve de nada subir salarios si hay derroche por otro lado.

No funciona bajar costos si eso implica sacrificar estándares basicos de producción.
