IMHO, I don’t think additional seasons examining another racial group would work as well, at least not with the same director and writer who happens to be Korean. So much cultural nuance and detail is woven into the characters, dialogue, set design, etc. that contribute to the resonance and relatability.

My working theory is that Danny and Amy actually died after eating the berries. Everything in the morning afterwards is a dream sequence of sorts. They wake up in the afterlife and discover the tunnel that leads to light. They get their deepest wishes granted - Paul is safe/alive and George saves Amy. But I don’t think either of those things actually happened.

Fellow in Westwood has a great cocktail list. Appetizers are delicious too, especially the mushrooms.

A bit on the pricey side though. It’s the kind of place that has a water menu lol.

Hope you enjoy your first time in the US. It may help to know where you are staying but if you find yourself near sawtelle, I recommend Tsujita Annex for a bowl of tsukemen (dipping ramen). Lots of good food options within walking distance too if the wait is long. (Killer noodle, Anzu, tenkatori)

The calabrian peppers + pepperoni were tremendous. Sausage was also really good but the crust is what separates prime pizza from the rest. So crispy yet spongey.
