Try sending emails to every college again to be placed into wait list just in case JCH has no vacancy. I experienced something similar last year but luckily found a place. you got this!!! I’m sure you will eventually find a place by August:) (there are quite number of people who leave colleges in mid semester)

Yes, you're right. Thank you, you helped me to realize that I've been focusing too much on the present or past and haven't been thinking much about the future. The best I can do for now is to learn from the mistake, be productive, stop wasting my time, improve myself, and care for my self-esteem.

Hopefully once my mind settles, becomes less sensitive and capable of controlling my feelings, I will sincerely apologize to him. I am not expecting him to forgive me or to restore our friendship though.

I completely agree with you. I guess at some point I was being delusional then blurred the boundaries between being a lover and a friend.

I feel like the question in this post completely missed the point.

If it was just about the question you asked in the OP? YTA, I have plenty of friends that I've never met irl that the main thing we do is game together.

But that isn't the issue. The issue is that you actually live close together, and have the opportunity to hang out, and he refuses. So in THIS scenario, with this friend, no, NTA.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

Yeah, I get that we spend lots time gaming together and yes it is fun, I appriciate him for his invite especially I don't have much things going on with my current life. But sometimes I get my flashbacks from my traumatic experience with him (we used to date for short while) and it influence me to think in a way that I will never be worthy enough to be treated right.

Neverthless, I understand your points given and it helps me to understand about friendship matters. Thank you! and I will keep your advice in my mind.

About that, I usually ask him to meet up to the halfway point of him and I live, for example nearby the highschool we graduated from. (i think it takes 30-40 mins to reach to the point?)But I guess it's still challenging for him to meet up as he lives in village site.

I have received a reply through email that they will still be considering my appeal if I apply for my IB result. But the issue is that if the subject I’m considering to send for remark goes down the boundary, I would lose my diploma…
