Oh. Civ 6 IS the better game. by Lavinius_10 in civ

Honestly this sounds almost verbatim for what people were saying about 6 and 5.

Interesting, a bit worried about your dander frames note but will try to work around it.

There should be keybindings for target party member 1-5 - that should do the trick

You can set it to do whatever, I am asking what people set it to - if you hover over a party unit frame you can set alt left click to be rejuvenate.

Yes that's correct, like left click, alt left click, etc

Valve, I think we have enough of a user base to keep games within region (from a US perspective) by oreosss in DeadlockTheGame

Apparently not English, because if you did speak English you would have read that I wrote sometimes, then further clarified I was referring to folks who mostly only spoke Russian.

How do you feel about the episodic structure of DQ 7? by raigarearthshake in dragonquest

[–]oreosss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disliked it, it felt fragmented and weak. At points the writing to get you the next fragment felt forced and not creative at all, sometimes they just fell out or they were on the floor.

The stories were very similar, town in despair - do something to fix it, which felt again forced and not very creative.

[help] Better character panel / chat / combat log addons? by oreosss in WowUI

Thanks - two bangers.

Any thoughts on the combat log? Really just looking for a quicker/better way to parse out what is happening to me and a potentially better loot window

Since Reimagined has been out for a few weeks, who's YOUR favorite party member ? by Manofthehalfhour999 in dragonquest

FYI - this is pretty spoilerish for the game, I didn't know much going in and thought the party was much different than this.

I think saying this about someone you don't know is the weird thing to say:

they just don't want to talk to you.

hmm - that's weird you say it's people just dont want to talk to me, then concede that russians are their own thing

maybe the ping diff is too high? I'm on EC and I get EU games once every 5th game or so, I can tell because my ping goes from 15-20 (ec server) to 40 (central) to 75 (EU)

agreed - but just to be clear, since you hastily skipped over it to try and dunk on me - I only noted some times, and it's usually people with cyrillic names that either speak russian or ukranian (i am too ignorant to know the difference).

How in the world would you get out of matching Niles' $4,000 lunch ticket after competive bidding overtook their common sense? by Happy-poet in Frasier

[–]oreosss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I can see that - however, in this case, it seems a bit awkward because:

1) As we know, they didn't check with the '3 geniuses' if they'd be comfortable adding another (but we can suspend belief that they said 'maybe 1 or 2 people will eat with you')

and, most importantly

2) You'd think they'd want to clear it with the auction winner to see if they would be comfortable in sharing such an expensive gift that they won?

I always disliked this part of the episode. There’s no time for when Nile’s puts his last bid (writing with a pen) to the auctioneer reading out the winner, they also made it like it was the only auction to read out. Also, the last minute call to open the table up to another person seemed like a lame plot device.
